How to Use FARM

Farm in Pool is a great way to earn IDS rewards on Indoswap. Unlike IDS Pools, Ranch requires you to stake two tokens to earn LP Tokens, which you then stake on the Farm to earn rewards. This allows you to earn IDS while still maintaining a position in your other tokens!

PREPARATION

Yield farming takes a bit of work to set up. You will need some "LP Tokens" to enter the Farm. Farms can only receive their own LP Tokens; for example, IDS-BNB Farms will only accept IDS-BNB LP Tokens. To get proper LP Tokens, you have to provide liquidity for that trading pair. So in order to get IDS-BNB LP Token, first of all you have to provide liquidity for IDS-BNB pair. This may sound scary, but it's not that complicated. Let's go through it step by step.

Finding Your Farm

Before proceeding, you must choose the right Ranch for you. Visit the Farms page and you will see a list of available Farms. IDS-BNB and BUSD-BNB are pinned to the top of the list by default Hot sorting. After a Ranch is pinned, Hot will show the other Ranches in order of how new they were. You can choose other sorting options if you want, such as according to the APR for the Ranch with the highest bounty rate at the moment. When you find the Farm you want to use, take note of the trading pair, e.g. BNB-IDS in case you need it later.

Provide liquidity to earn LP Tokens

Now that you have found a Farm to bet on, you need to add liquidity to earn your LP Tokens. Click on the Farm row you selected from the list. It will open to show more details. On the left, you will see some links. Click the Get (your partner) LP link. This will open the Add Liquidity page for your Farm partner. Now that you have your LP Tokens, you are ready to start betting them on the Farm and earning rewards!

Return to the Farm page and find your farm.

Click anywhere on the row that represents your partner.

This will be expanded to show more details.

When you are ready, click the Activate button and confirm your action in your wallet.

After waiting for a while, the Enable button will change to Stake LP.

Click it and a new window will appear.

Type the number of LP Tokens you wish to farm into the field, or simply click Max to use up all your LP Tokens.

After you enter the amount, the Confirm button will light up. Click it.

Your wallet will ask you to confirm your action.

After waiting for a while, the window will close, and you will see your new LP Token balance at stake in the details.

Adding or removing LP Tokens from the Farm

You can decide you want to add more LP Tokens to the Farm at a later date, or take a portion of the Farm. You can do this very easily whenever you want.

Return to Agricultural Products page. At the top of the page, you'll see a Bet Only switch. Click the switch. You will now only see pairs for which you have LP Tokens in the list, making it even easier to find your Farm.

Find the Farm where you have the LP Token, and click on the row to see the details. You will see - and + buttons on the right side. Click - to remove LP Tokens, or + to add more LP Tokens.

A window will open that looks like the one you used before to stake your LP Tokens first. Like last time, type in the amount you want to unstake, or click Max to remove/add all available LP Tokens.

Make sure your information is correct. When you are ready, click the Confirm button and confirm the action in your wallet.

After waiting for a while, your new balance will appear in the detail section of your LP Token pair. If you have released your LP Tokens, any unharvested rewards you have will be automatically collected.

Collect your farm rewards

Farming will reward you with time. You can collect these rewards and use them to earn more LP Tokens, stake them in IDS Pools, or whatever you want.

Return to your farm to Harvest

You can harvest your Farm and IDS Pool rewards together from the Home page. If you just want to collect farm rewards then go for it.

To collect your rewards, you must visit the Farm of your choice and collect the IDS waiting for you.

Return to the Farm page here. Find the Farm where you staked your LP Tokens, and click on the row to see the details. You'll see your estimated reward under "Ids received".

Click the Harvest button and confirm the action in your wallet. After a short wait, the IDS will be claimed to your wallet for you to use as you please.

How often should I harvest my gifts?

How often you harvest rewards is up to you, but keep in mind that there is a small fee to pay for harvesting. You can see this fee in your wallet when you confirm after clicking Harvest.

It shows the cost for harvesting as it appears in the MetaMask wallet. Different wallets will display slightly different information. Consider letting your rewards grow for a while so you pay less fees. Happy farming!
